There are many more great mods, I suggest you to try them all and see what you like the most. While I do love Epoch and origins for the ability to keep my weapons and make bases, sometimes I want a more "vanilla" feel so I hop on to either Breaking point or DayZero. I suggest you take a look at the homepages for a more in-depth look than my basic resumes on the mods cause there's much more to them. Dayzero is kinda "closed" ( whitelist ) so just that helps with cheating problems right off the bat, it has new skins new zombies and new weapons. ( This is bad for a fresh start, but great to stop ghosting and jumping servers )īreaking Point - For me it's a PvP oriented game, I use this mod to get my pvp fix ( I also do that with wastelands for arma2:oa :P ), the number of new guns just make it extremely cool for that :P it adds fog and buch of other new stuff. It only works on Taviana, there isn't a "hive" if you leave a server and go to another, your a fresh spawn, it only saves your char for the servers you play. It has support for lots of maps, and you can take your gear to other servers ( in the same hive )ĭayZ Origins : DayZ Taviana with houses P You have housing and garages, a leveling system ( hero/bandit lvl 1/2/3 ) tied to skins and diferent houses.
